If your looking for beautiful and unique jewelry this is the place to shop. I also appreciate that Ginger was so patient and let me try on everything that I pointed out to and gave me pricing. I felt like a child in a candy store, except I was looking at jewelry! I did make a purchase and will be back again. I heard her talking to another employee and realized they have an online store too. I made a purchase online and the ring was as expected based on the pictures. I will definitely stop by the store next time I'm in Solvang and shop online.

I couldn’t be more impressed with my experience buying from Designs In Gold. The same day I placed my order (on the Memorial Day holiday no less) I received a phone call from Blu to ensure my item’s shipping was handled to my convenience. Blu was in contact throughout the shipping process and even checked in personally (not a system generated email) to verify I had received my order and made sure it was to my liking. Great communication and wonderful customer service!

They have a spectacular collection of vintage and antique jewelry pieces that are in beautiful condition. The shop owner was very welcoming and very knowledgeable. There was also a good sterling collection with some unique pieces. I wish I had more pictures to capture the true history and flare that this collection displayed.

Designs in Gold provided the most incredible experience throughout my whole engagement process! Their ring selection was absolutely stunning, and Blu helped my fiancé and I select a ring that perfectly suited the classic, unique look we were going for. Even included lovely handwritten notes for her and I to open on our special night, adding to the personal touch. I emailed back and forth with Blu about a specific ring and they were incredibly accommodating and helpful. I was beyond excited to find the ring I found on their website, my partner had the same one given to her 25 years ago by her grandmother who now has severe Alzheimer’s and dementia. She unfortunately lost it during a river trip and was devastated. I was able to order the same ring for her and it was a very special moment. I highly recommend Designs in Gold!

I can't say enough good things about Design & Gold. Ginger and Jim are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely care about their customers. My mother gave me three diamonds and my fiancé had a ring made from them, it came out stunning and so meaningful. The whole experience felt personal and special from start to finish.
